Kala or Red Dhaaga - black thread is mainly used for Evil Eye protection, Nazar shield or for wearing Taveez/Taweet, nazar lockets or other Jewellery pendants/lockets. Dhagga can be worn on its own as necklace, bracelet or even as anklet (mostly young girls wear it in left leg to avoid nazar)
These Kala and Red Dhaga are already energised by Pooja/Worship which is done by a Hindu priest in Jalandhar. You can also perform your own rituals/mantras if needed and it will dominate old Pooja/worship and make it more powerful and beneficial.
