ਆਸਾੜੁ ਤਪੰਦਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਲਗੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਹੁ ਨ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਪਾਸਿ ॥ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਕੈ ਮਾਣਸ ਸੰਦੀ ਆਸ ॥ आसाड़ु तपंदा तिसु लगै हरि नाहु न जिंना पासि ॥ जगजीवन पुरखु तिआगि कै माणस संदी आस ॥ Āsāṛ ṯapanḏā ṯis lagai har nāhu na jinna pās. Jagjīvan purakẖ ṯiāg kai māṇas sanḏī ās. The month of Aasaarh seems burning hot, to those who are not close to their Husband Lord.
