ਸਜਣੁ ਸਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਸਿਰਿ ਸਾਹਾਂ ਦੈ ਸਾਹੁ ॥ ਜਿਸੁ ਪਾਸਿ ਬਹਿਠਿਆ ਸੋਹੀਐ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੇਸਾਹੁ ॥   सजणु सचा पातिसाहु सिरि साहां दै साहु ॥ जिसु पासि बहिठिआ सोहीऐ सभनां दा वेसाहु ॥   Sajaṇ sacẖā pāṯisāhu sir sāhāʼn ḏai sāhu. Jis pās bahiṯẖiā sohīai sabẖnāʼn ḏā vesāhu.   My Friend is the True Supreme King, the King over the heads of kings. ਆਪੇ ਕੰਡਾ ਤੋਲੁ ਤਰਾਜੀ ਆਪੇ ਤੋਲਣਹਾਰਾ ॥ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਖੈ ਆਪੇ ਬੂਝੈ ਆਪੇ ਹੈ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ॥   आपे कंडा तोलु तराजी आपे तोलणहारा ॥आपे देखै आपे बूझै आपे है वणजारा ॥   Āpe kandā ṯol ṯarājī āpe ṯolaṇhārā. Āpe ḏekẖai āpe būjẖai āpe hai vaṇjārā.   You Yourself are the balance, the weights and the scale; You Yourself are the weigher. ਜਿਉ ਜਿਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤਿਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਹੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਜਹ ਜਹ ਰਖਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਤਹ ਜਾਇ ਖੜੋਵਣਾ ॥   जिउ जिउ तेरा हुकमु तिवै तिउ होवणा ॥ जह जह रखहि आपि तह जाइ खड़ोवणा ॥   Jio jio ṯerā hukam ṯivai ṯio hovṇā. Jah jah rakẖėh āp ṯah jāe kẖaṛovaṇā.   As is the Hukam of Your Command, so do things happen. ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਸਾਚ ਸਿਉ ਸਾਸੁ ਨ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਇ ॥   मनु तनु सीतलु साच सिउ सासु न बिरथा कोइ ॥   Man ṯan sīṯal sācẖ sio sās na birthā koe.   One whose mind and body are cooled and soothed by the True Lord-no breath of his is wasted.   ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਠੰਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਆਸ ਭੀ ਬੇਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।                                                            SGGS Ang 35             

ਜੇਤੇ ਦਾਣੇ ਅੰਨ ਕੇ ਜੀਆ ਬਾਝੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਜੀਉ ਹੈ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥   जेते दाणे अंन के जीआ बाझु न कोइ ॥पहिला पाणी जीउ है जितु हरिआ सभु कोइ ॥   Jeṯe ḏāṇe ann ke jīā bājẖ na koe. Pahilā pāṇī jīo hai jiṯ hariā sabẖ koe.   As many as are the grains of corn, none is without life. First, there is life in the water, by which everything else is made green.   ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਦਾਣੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਨ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਛ ਸਰਸਬਜ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।                                                            SGGS Ang 472              #maggar #mgar #magar...
